It's one of those things you'll laugh about (maybe?) a few years from now, right? At least you made it home safe, even if it is to Podunkville. Maybe it'll give some of the gossips in town more to talk about. You could even make up an exciting story about getting injured bungee jumping or something.
I just got an e-mail from the editor of the magazine for which I do volunteer reviews, and she's having a hard time understanding why the rating I gave a recent book and the review didn't seem to "match up." I must de-fog my brain and remember why I did that. I'm a little nervous about it, since I've been doing this for several years and this is the first one she's ever had a question about.
