No problems finding those in need here

After reading the last post, I felt a little melancholy myself. However, just think about all the good you can do in Atlanta. There are so many who do not have a voice, or who need someone to depend on letting the larger world know about their outreach efforts. I know it might not be in the same capacity (news reporter), but you know what I mean.

On a different note, I have the possible opportunity for a Media Specialist position at a local elementary school next fall. I have awhile to chew on it, but I think if I'm offered it, I'm going to accept. I hate having Little Bit in daycare for three years, until she begins school, but these positions are difficult to find and it would be ideal in every other respect. This would give me some time to find a good sitter situation for her too, hopefully, instead of a center. Roo would be attending kindergarten and I could have her at the same school, and I would not have a long commute, which I was facing with just about every other position I've looked at. I'm going to keep thinking about it and praying that the right decision will be made. Of course, if the economy doesn't pick up soon, it may not be an optional thing!!
