Last Day

Last day of visit had to be rainy. All day too! Shouldn't complain too much though. Weather has been beautiful until today. We went to the Botanical Gardens despite the rain and had an overall nice time even though we got soaked. The orchid house was covered so part of the visit was dry at least. I bought an annual membership since I will be living just a few blocks away and should get my money's worth quickly.

Did I mention the apartment will be available on December 11?

My son took us to a wonderful restaurant for dinner tonight and I overdid as usual. After all that rich Gulf Coast food and this, I have to go back on protein and Diet Coke for a while (no wine either!).

Back south soon but not for long!
