I took a long ride north of the city yesterday. The leaves seem to be in all their glory right now - just masses of golds, reds, burgundies, a few oranges. It's absolutely breathtaking. I wanted so much to take some pictures by my common sense told me it would be a fool's errand to stop by a busy interstate for that!
Lots of pretty colors in the older neighborhoods around here too but seems to be power lines every where the most beautiful colors are. Nothing kills a good photo op more than have those things in the forefront of the scenery.
I've done very little but ramble around since I got here (did buy some shoes today) and I've enjoyed every minute of it. So much to see, so little time! At least for now anyway.
