Slices of life from a mother and daughter sharing their view of Mom getting her groove back, day-to-day events in their lives, previously published articles by fellow bloggers, with a bit of other miscellany thrown in for good measure. A humorous and sometimes serious look at life from at least two different perspectives but others wishing to toss in their two cents worth are welcome to join in as well.

Thanks. I also had her take money from her piggy bank for it, even though she didn't get to keep the cube. It turns out that it didn't cost anything, apparently the little cubes are there for the kids to play with, but I made her give the store owner a dollar anyway, which she returned to me when Roo wasn't looking. She was very gracious and said it certainly wasn't the first or last time a child had taken something. I told her I was sure, but it would be the last time this one takes anything. I think it will, too. Fortunately, she's pretty easy to correct. She would make a lousy spy, though; she cracked like an egg under the slight interrogation we gave her.
