Hello from Louisiana

I'm doing a very brief post, since Little Bit will be waking from her nap anytime now. Oh, and as I typed that, Roo came in looking for her Barbie's shoe (talk about finding a needle in a haystack!). We've had a good visit so far, and our hosts, DHs aunt and uncle, are very gracious and helpful. It's exhausting being so far away from home with a two year old, though. Five is fine, but two is something else. Both girls were exceptionally good on the long trip, but Little Bit's schedule is all upside down and her crankiness is pretty severe sometimes. I'm keeping an eye out to see if it might be ear-related, since she's prone to infection and both girls have slight sniffles and cough, but she says her ears and head do not hurt. Anyhow, I'll be very very happy to be home and back to our boring routine in a few days.
